Anyway...

Lesley Ann Beck

Well, folks, this is the last Berkshires Week for the 2003 season. Or is it? We are putting our heads together to create a Berkshires Week that will be available every Thursday through the winter, but in a new format. Stay tuned.

We still want to hear about events and exhibits, by email at news@berkshireeagle.com; by snail mail at The Berkshire Eagle, 75 South Church St., Pittsfield, 01201, or by fax at 499-3419. Just add "Attention Berkshires Week." Or, you can contact me directly at lbeck@berkshireeagle.com.

It was a great summer, despite an overabundance of rain on the weekends. I would like to remind everyone, however, that there is still lots to do -- the Columbus Day weekend is jammed with events; Halloween is right around the corner, and then it'll be time for turkey dinners and pumpkin pies.

And of course, the best way to appreciate autumn in the Berkshires is by taking extra long walks with your Labrador dog, Otis says.
